Members of the inHealth team have been participating in the Valparaiso Popcorn Parade since 2012 and have won the Grand Champion Award every year since 2014. Pictured to the left is the winning float being pulled by the United Way ambulance.
The Parade is always the Saturday following Labor Day. Please come out and support the United Way and Valparaiso Festival and Events.
Since 2015 the inHealth team and the United Way have teamed up to create a float made up entirely of corn products.
Each year we use over:
500 lbs of Popped Popcorn | 75 lbs of Corn Kernels
50 Corn Stalks | 100 Ears Of Corn
2 Gallons Of Corn Oil | 30 Boxes of Corn Flakes
25 Boxes Of Corn Bread |100 Feet Corn Silk
The purpose of the float is to bring awareness to the community of the various programs that both inHealth and the United Way of Porter County support.
